Hii, my fellow readers. This week I read another Graphic Novel. Namely: Paper Girls Volume 2. The hit-series from Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang, Matt Wilson, and Jared K. Fletcher continues with a bold new direction, as intrepid young newspaper deliverers, find themselves launched from 1988 to a distant and terrifying future... The year 2016.
I enjoyed reading the first graphic novel. The ending ended on a cliffhanger, which made me curious to read the next prequel. So, I bought the second volume and I enjoyed it as well. however, it wasn't as thrilling as the first one. Yet, it ended on a cliffhanger as well. The characters are fun and exciting to discover. I'm curious to read more about the friendship growth between the girls. How Erin is the only character with a future "her" that we know of. Which characters are trustworthy and which aren't? I'm excited to continue the series.
The illustrations are beautiful and fun. The characters are fun and exciting to discover. The monsters and other creatures trigger me to read further. I'm liking it so far. The graphic novel is a fun, sci-fi with some touching but common time traveling. A lot has already happened, yet you still know little about what is exactly going on. Anyhow, I'm excited to continue this series. but mostly, I'm excited to find out about the characters and their future selves.
Synopsis:
