Hello, my fellow readers. This week's book is going to be "A Dance With The Fae Prince" by Elise Kova. This is the second book in the stand-alone book series "Married to magic series". ADWTFP is a complete, stand-alone novel, inspired by the tales of Psyche and Eros, Cinderella, with a "happily ever after" ending. It's perfect for fantasy romance fans, looking for a little bit of steam and their next slow-burn couple.

Our main character is Katria, she is a young woman who lives with her stepmother en two sisters in her father's house. Katria's character building is just the way I like it. She starts off like a scared young woman and grows into this powerful woman. Her thoughts are so normal and fragile. I really enjoy reading her character.

Our manly mc is Lord Fenwood. He has these strange rules that don't make sense at the beginning. But eventually, it all makes sense. He can be cruel and mean sometimes, but eventually, I liked him and I liked how he becomes.

The other characters are fun, and it is exciting to find out who is a betrayer.

The world-building is easy to follow, but there isn't a map on my ebook. However, I found one on the internet so you get a good idea. But Elise wrote the world clear and your fantasy will do the rest.

This book is such a feel-good book. I really enjoy reading these kinds of books. The romance is always adorable and it makes my fantasy explode in my head. I liked the characters and how Elise made them grow as real characters. I liked how the world looks and how the story fits each other. However, there were some things that weren't necessary, and the part after the beginning was a bit slow... I still enjoyed reading it and I am curious because there should be a bonus scene on Elise Kova's site: A Dance with the Fae Prince (Married to Magic) – Elise Kova . Did you read this book? Let me know what your thoughts are.

Synopsis:
She knew her hand in marriage would be sold. She had no idea a fae prince was the buyer.

Katria swore she'd never fall in love. SHe's seen what "love" means through the cruelty of her family. So when she's married off to the mysterious Lord Fenwood for a handsome price, all Katria wants is a better life than the one she's leaving. Feelings are off the table.

But her new husband makes not falling in love difficult.

As their attraction begins to grow, so too do the oddities within her new life. Strange rules, screams in the night, and attacks by fae that Katria never thought were real. When she witnesses a ritual not meant for human eyes, Katria finds herself spirited away to the land of Midscape.

Surviving the fae wilds as a human is hard enough. Katria must survive as a human who accidentally pilfered the magic of ancient kings-magic, a bloodthirsty king is ready to kill her for in order to keep his stolen throne, and her new husband is the rightful heir in hiding.

The power to save the fae is in her hands. But who will save her from a love she vowed never to feel?

Love,
DarkBlue.
