Hii, me fellow readers. This week's book is 'Verity' by Colleen Hoover. A full standalone book in Colleen's collection. This was such an intense read, and I loved it. The sensation kept me on the tips of my toes.

When I started reading this book, I didn't know what to expect. However, it turned out to be really great. It was such an exciting book to read, the writing style of Colleen is really amazing. The moments that I was reading, I couldn't stop. This book is crazy and mind-blowing.

The characters are so interesting. Our Mc is Lowen, she is a writer with a little bit of a tough life. She gets to live in this huge mansion with a family. Her character was mostly the normal character in this book.
Jeremy is our male MC. The moment this book started with him in, was the moment it became sensational and intense.
Verity... I mean... How does Colleen make such a character? What does she think about when she writes about her? Man... Verity is something different but in a positive way. I really like how Colleen wrote her character. Because how all the characters are in this book, makes this book so special.

The world-building is small, nothing special. Just a normal world: a big city, a huge house in a small town. However, you get a good idea of what the house looks like, and how every vibe/tension feels like.

Damn, this book was a whole other level of books that I'm used to. This book was such an intense book to read, with interesting characters, fucked up situations, and a jaw-dropping ending. I mean...every part in this book was really crazy. I loved it. The characters were amazingly written, and the plot twists were mind-blowing. I am really curious about Colleen Hoover's other books because her writing style made me in love with her books. Did you read any books by Colleen Hoover? Let me know. Because I'm gonna read them. Be aware, that this book has some violence, and taboo romance in it.

Synopsis:
Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of  bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night her family was forever altered.

Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents could devastate the already-grieving father. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue loving her...
