Caraval by Stephanie Garber.
Caraval.
Overall, I really liked this book. It was fun, exciting, thrilling, and a little bit heartbreaking to read. The romance was sensational and adorable. The characters were fun and interesting. The book itself was amazing and mind-blowing. There were a lot of plot twists, and it was tricky to read. Because it was tricky to trust someone. I enjoyed reading this book and I'm very curious to read the next books in this trilogy.

Hello, my fellow readers. This week's book is 'Caraval' by Stephanie Garber. The first book of the trilogy series, Caraval.
And wow, what a ride it was. This book was playing with my mind. Every time you think you will figure something out. You are wrong. I couldn't trust anything or anybody during this book and it was killing me.
The characters are fun and mysterious. You follow Scarlett during her search on Caraval. But, who does she trust and who does she not trust? Scarlett was very naïve in the beginning, but she learned it the hard way and that's why I enjoy her so much. Julian gave me mixed feelings, but I like him as well. Dante was my favorite, a dark and mysterious man. I really liked all the characters in this book (except for their father, he was bad...). Each had a fun character growth, and they all had their secrets (which was fun and exciting to discover).
The world starts on the Island of Isle, but ends on the Caraval. Caraval is huge and changes during the book, which was confusing but I managed to follow thanks to the map on my Ebook.
Synopsis:
A legendary competition.
A mesmerizing romance.
An unbreakable bond, between two sisters.
Scarlett Dragna has never left the tiny island where she and her sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel father. Now Scarlett's father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval - The faraway, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show - are over.
But this year, Scarlett's long-dreamt-of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlette away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval's mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season's Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner.
Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. Nevertheless, she becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic. And whether Caraval is real or not, Scarlett must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over or a dangerous domino effect of consequences will be set off, and her beloved sister will disappear forever.
Welcome, welcome to Caraval... Beware of getting swept too far away.
Love, ❤
