Hello, my fellow readers. This week's book is 'Love On The Brain' by Ali Hazelwood. A new novella, rom-com in which a scientist is forced to work on a project with her nemesis.

First of all. This book reminds me of 'The Love Hypothesis'. Why? They are both scientists. Levi is a tall, hot, muscled man with black hair and beautiful eyes. Bee is a small person who is kind of goofy... Even though the story is different, it felt slightly the same as TLH. That's another reason I liked the main characters. Because they felt kind of the same as Olive and Adam. However, Levi was a dipsh*t in the beginning. Yet, it becomes clear during the story why he was a dipsh*t, and eventually, he was a very nice man and I eventually liked him. He was so careful and sweet for Bee. It made me melt. Bee's character is a goofy girl. She is a woman proving herself in science and I love that. With her anonym Twitter account, she is taking over the world.

The world-building is not huge. This a contemporary book, that takes place in NASA science center. There is not much world-building. Yet, it's not necessary.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a fun and romantic book to read. It did remind me a lot of The Love Hypothesis. But honestly... I didn't mind. I liked TLH and I liked a big, strong, muscle man with black hair and nice eyes. This book was a little bit of an emotional rollercoaster. I have hated, loved, and almost cried during this book. Which's a good sign, it means that I'm invested in the story. LOTB has a lot of academia in it, so it can be a little bit to scientific. Furthermore, it has a good plot twist, and when the world seems to end, another beautiful world opens.

Synopsis:
Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neüroengineering project, a literal dream come true, Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh, but the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.

Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school, archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.

But when her equipment starts to go missing and the staff ignores her, Bee could swear she sees Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas... devouring her with those eyes. The possibilities have all her neurons firing.

But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there's only one question that matters. What will Bee Königswasser do?

Love, ❤
