Nancy Drew: The Hidden Staircase (2).
Overall, I enjoy reading Nancy Drew. It's a bit nostalgic and I'm going to collect the whole series because Nancy Drew has some great mysteries to solve. These are fast-paced stories, which are fun to read between other books. You can tell what's going to happen so it's not that mysterious or too thrilling. Yet, some parts are surprising and exciting. The writing style is different from what we are used by now. That makes it more fun because it's a book from a different time and a different style. The Hidden Staircase was a quick and fun read. Not particularly amazing, but fun. I'm going to continue to read Nancy Drew, and I can't wait to explore more stories from her.

Hello, my fellow readers. This week's book is 'Nancy Drew: The Hidden Staircase' by Carolyn Keene. The second book from the Nancy Drew Mysteries Stories series.
Nancy Drew is back with another mystery. But this mystery get's personal when her father went missing. Our sleuth (a commonly used word in the book) is investigating the case and doing what she does best, solving the mystery.
Nancy is a fearless, beautiful, blond woman. Who isn't afraid of anything. She is a perfect woman who can do anything, even from the first time. It's fun to read how time changes a writing style and a character build. I guess back in the day, women were described as beautiful and perfect human beings. But let's be honest. A woman can do almost anything and is almost perfect ;) (yes, I'm a woman myself). Anyway, I like how fast-paced the stories are and how the mystery is described.
The world-building is beautifully written. Everything is well written and you get some beautiful illustrations from time to time.

Having heard about her reputation for solving mysteries, the sisters invite Nancy Drew to stay in the mansion and discover the thief.
