Hii, my fellow readers. This week's book is 'Rhapsodic' by Laura Thalassa. The first book of 'The Bargainer' series. A dark fantasy romance between a siren and the 'bargainer' were she owes countless favors to. 

This story was really fun to read. Our main heroine is Callypso a.k.a. Callie. This story starts when Callie's just a vulnerable teenager. She went through horrible things and that's when The Bargainer comes. When Callie grows, her character develops into a strong woman who fights her demons and I love her for it. The Bargainer seems like a bad person, but during the book, you'll discover he's more than a bad person. The growth in their relationship is so addictive to read and I couldn't stop reading. 

The world is big and interesting. I'm actually sad that there wasn't a map because I really would enjoy that. It's a big world I'd like to discover further and it has multiple worlds. One is contemporary and one is more magical and futuristic. I really like how Laura described the different worlds and how they get to the different worlds.

This book has multiple timetables, each chapter starts from the beginning of it all and eventually ends with the present. It's a different story that I'm used to and I really loved it. I like how the bargainer acts bad, but is much more than that. I like that during the romance, there's actually a story to discover and that the book ends on a cliffhanger of that story. From the moment I started this book, till the end, it held my attention. There was enough action and romance to keep this book interesting to read and the dynamic between the characters was very addictive. I'm curious to read the prequel 'A Strange Hymn' and I can't wait to discover more of the romance and story. 

Synopsis:
