A Vow So Bold And Deadly is the third book of the bookseries 'Cursebreakers' from Brigid Kemmerer. I was looking forward to this book because I was curious to this one. While 'A heart so fierce and broken' was a bit less in my opinion, I really wanted to read AVSBAD. I wanted to know more about Grey and Rhen. And I got some answers! But the ending was a bit open.. So I suspect that there will be a fourth book in the cursbreakers series. Because this can't be the ending of this series. 

I really like the relationship between Rhen and Harper. From book one, I enjoyed their relationship (at some point I thought Harper would be with Grey, because they have something as well. But Rhen and Harper's love was to strong). However, they both made some terrible mistakes, but they did it for each other (in a good way). Their love is truely and they fight for each other, which I adore. Rhen deserved more, I didn't like his ending that much, he went true a lot. He just deserved a better ending (if this is the ending).

The relationship between Grey and Lia Mara is just.. meh. Lia Mara is always complaining about how she wants peace but she doens't do anything about it. Even her army doens't trust and obey her that much. And I feel like Grey's hart belongs to Harper (in a certain way) but he eventualy fills his hart with Lia Mara. I don't know, It just feels to me like Grey's true love is Harper as well, but he coudn't said it back then because of Rhen and the curse. Now he is with Lia Mara and I'm not much of a fan with their relationship, it was always the same (except for the love parts, which where fun to read). And the ending was a bit obvious in my opinion. However, Grey really grew as a character, he became a true leader. 

The final battle was a bit weird. It was a great build up, but when you eventually get to the part of 'who's gonna die?', You immediatly knew and the build up wasn't needed. I almost overread the final ending of the battle..

I had high hopes for 'A Vow So Bold And Deadly' and I enjoyed reading this book. It was a good book and the devolpment from the characters where interesting. Some characters I love more as others. Brigid Kemmerer has an amazing writing style, which I really appreciate. And I truelly hope their will be a next book, because this CAN'T BE THE ENDING!
