Basmati rice with stewed vegtables and baked salmon.
My boyfriend and I make a lot of stewed vegtables, because we love it and it's really easy to make. We invented this dish on a Holiday in France and it was so good. We always try and make some food dishes without recipes, because we just make what sounds good to us and that's when we tried and made this dish.
Ingredients (for 2 persons):
- 1 Bag of basmati rice (125gr).
- 1 Carrot.
- 1 Zucchini.
- 1 Sweet paprika.
- Soy Sauce (Ketjap).
- Pepper, salt, chilli herbs.
- 2 Salmon fillets.
Step 1.
Peel the vegtables, cut them into pieces and stew them.
Step 2.
Cook the basmati rice (See on the packaging how long the cooking time will take).
Step 3.
Season the salmon fillets with herbs and bake them into a hot oily pan until it is ready and a little bit crispy.
Step 4.
Put your cooked basmati rice in the pot with the stewed vegtables and add the soy sauce (ketjap) until you like the taste of it. Season it with some salt, pepper and chilli herbs for extra taste.
Step 5.
Serve your food on a plate.

Yes it's that easy and yes it is delicious. You don't need a lot of time in making this (max 30 minutes) and it is a fairly healthy dish. What do you cook when you are on a holiday? (if you cook).
