Hello, my fellow readers. This week's book is 'The Hawthorne Legacy' by Jennifer L. Barnes. Intrigue, riches, and romance abound in this thrilling sequel to the Inheritance Games. This book is perfect for fans of Karen McManus and Holly Jackson. With nonstop action, family intrigue, swoon-worthy romance, and billions of dollars hanging in the balance. 

This book contains a lot of characters and a huge/confusing family tree. However, the characters are excited and very interesting. In the first book, each character had their secrets. Yet, they unravel during the story. The character build is still good, and a love triangle is developing (I know it's a YA, but a RH would be interesting). 

The world-building is the same as in the first book. It takes place in the huge mansion of the Hawthorne family. However, the characters travel to other places, but they aren't described as the mansion they live in. 

This story is thrilling and well-written. Each corner of the story contains a plot twist and my mind couldn't follow some parts. The riddles are fun and well-founded. The characters are intriguing and mysterious. You should not read this book if you are tired, because you will forget important parts. I enjoyed reading this book, and I am curious about the next book. But, I'm a mood reader... 

Synopsis:
