New Amsterdam.

New Amsterdam.
Seasons: 3 Seasons.
Genre: Drama, medical drama.
My Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5)

I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy, so it's hard for me to find and watch another great medical drama. However, when I first watched New Amsterdam, I was already sold. New Amsterdam has many and different cultures, it's a cheap hospital, and they care more about the patient then money. This serie finally portrays that a hospital and doctors can have human emotions and that they have a private life who influence their choices. Everybody has baggage, even the best surgeon in the world. That's what makes us human, that's what makes New Amsterdam human.

"How Can I Help?" How beautiful is that question?

Storyline:
Dr. Max Goodwin is brilliant, charming and the new medical director at America's oldest public hospital. While he's set on tearing down the bureaucracy to provide exeptional care, the doctors and staff are not so sure. They've heard this before, and no one else has delivered on those promises. Not taking "no" for and answer, Max disrupts the status quo and proves he will stop at nothing to breathe new life into this understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospital. The only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers Island and the president of the United States all under one roof, and return it to the glory that put it on the map. Inspired by Bellvue in New York City.
