Virgin River: 1st trilogy - Robin Carr.
Today I wanna talk about the Virgin River 1st Trilogy. It's written by Robin Carr and it is a good roman to read. In the trilogy you will read different story's about the characters in the book. The books are not written about one particular couple, but all the characters there story will be told. I also feel like everybody is trying to run away from there past and ends up in this heavinly place, so it's nice to fantasize about this place. Seems to be a good place. So let's talk about the books in the trilogy and the series that's based on this trilogy.
The first book in the trilogy, is: Virgin river.
Author: Robin Carr.
Pages: 386 pages, Paperback.
Genre: Romance, Contemporary.

Goodreads rating: ★★★★☆ (4.06).
In this book, you get to know al the characters and a little bit of there history. You will get to know the main characters, Melinda and Jack. And Why Melinda ran away from her beloved LA. Why There is a baby in front of the docters door and many moore. The romance between Melinda and Jack is romantic, lovely and kinda hot. This was also my favorite book (of the three books) to read. Some parts are a bit thrilling, but that's what makes it exciting to read. I also enjoy the historic parts of al the characters that you wil find out if you read these books.

This book is more about the romance between Paige and Preacher ( aka John, who's best friend is Jack and there buddies from the marines). And why Paige ran away from her husband with her child. The books show us some kind of real life experiences and abuses which is cruel but not that unrealistic in these world. It's scary but it has a beautiful ending.
Storyline:
John "Preacher" Middleton is about to close the bar when a young woman and her three-year-old son come in out of a wet October night. A marine who has seen his share of pain, Preacher knows a crisis when he sees one- the woman is covered in bruises. He wants to protect them, and he wants to punish whoever did this to her, but he knows immediatly that inclination to protect is something much more. Paige Lassister has stirred up emotions in this gentle giant of a man - emotions that he has never allowed himself to feel.
But when Paige's ex-husband turns up in Virgin River, Preacher knows his own future hangs in the balance. And if there's one thing in the marines' motto of Semper Fidelis-alwasy faithful-has taught him, it's that some things are worth fighting for.
The last book of this trilogy, is:
Author: Robin Carr.
Pages: 363 pages, Paperback.
Genre: Romance, contemporary.
Published: 29 May, 2007.
Goodreads rating: ★★★★☆ (4.16).
In the last book of this trilogy, you will read about Brie and Mike. Brie is Jack's sister en Mike is on of his best friends (from the marines) and kinda a ladies man (divorced two times), so you can guess how that's going to be.. But! Brie and Mike have been through a lot, so that makes the romance between them very romantic and kinda special. Also a bit predictable in my opinion, but somethimes a little bit prediction is very comfortable to read.
Storyline:
A decorated U.S. Marine reservist, LAPD officer Mike Valenzuela was badly wouded in the line of duty, but has found hope and healing in Virgin River. When he agrees to become the town's firts cop, he does so knowing it's time he settled down. Twice divorced and the lover of too many women, he secretly longs for the kind of commitment and happiness his marine buddies have found - a woman who cna tie up his heart forever.
He finds that woman in Brie Sheridan, a Sacramento prosecuter who understands his drive to protect and serve. Virgin Riveer becomes a safe have for Brie after nearly losing her life at the hands of a crazd criminal. Though tough and courageous, she's got some fears she can't escape - but now she has someone who will show her just what it means to trust again. Mike will do anything to help Brie free herself from painful memories. Passionate, strong and gentle, he vows to give back to her what she's so selflessly given him- her heart, and with it, a new beginning.
Virgin River has it's own series on Netflix.
So if you have trouble fantasizing about the characters and this amazing God place. You can watch it on Netflix! It has one season at the moment (due to Covid-19, they had to wait for another season) and this season is more based on the first book of the Virgin River 1st trilogy. Not everything is the same in the series as in the book, but still lovely. In my opinion the place looks beautiful and the actors are a really good choice for playing the characters. So I recommend watching this serie after reading the books.
Love,
